Congrats to those who got their iPhone X and hope you guys enjoy using the phone. I am quite fickle minded whether to buy it or not.

How is the battery life of iPhone X compare to iPhone 8+? Can iPhone X battery outlast the iPhone 8+??

in terms of battery. i dun think X can outlast 8+ because of FaceID.

Oh really? I thought X has a higher capacity batt than 8+, hasn't it? Were you a 7+/8+ user previously?

Coming from 7 plus, no regrets going to X mainly for the screen, design and overall performance. Yes though batt life still not as long but acceptable and drains very quickly when I'm on Pokémon GO.

It's easier and more comfortable to hold the X due to smaller form factor and remember that you have the current most powerful and advanced smartphone.

My recommendation is go for the X! It's also a special 10th anniversary iPhone.

Plus comes with additional UI goodies liked shortcuts in keyboard, etc. they are not present in X.

X is actually jus an extension to the non-plus model. with bunny ears and removal of chin.

I was previously using 6S+. No regret switching to X. Smaller form factor with about similar screen size was a plus point to me. Not bothered by the notch after a while and FaceID is accurate and fast enough for me.

No regrets.
Battery life to me no diff. X can last me from morning till i reach home.

But like all new gadgets, you'll tend to keep using and checking and unlocking with faceID so for a start batt life gonna drop fast

And yah, noticed that phil did not give a definite figure (which he usually does for previous iphones) about the battery life of X. Hmm....2 hours more than iphone 7/8???

Drop by an apple store to test and feel it first. The only thing that you cannot know for sure is the actual battery usage.

my options getting narrower to the 8/8+ direction but I still cant get my head on X.. anyways I still have a month to decide coz my contract only renewable next month ... My concern is with the additional top-up of over 500 or 200-300 more for 8+ if I should decide this. I also want to get Airpod when I switch back from S7e to this >.< easily 1.4~1.5k worth of savings gone.

Coming from 6+, 7+ & 8+.. I have no regrets buying the X. It’s beautiful! Finally a new design since 2014. Full Oled screen! Face ID! Just perfect.

The screen is slimmer than the Plus but X is longer than the Plus. You will get used to it.

the battery life is good... can last more than a day... I think ios 11 in iPhone X plays a big role in that.
