Coming 6+ and no regrets getting X. It is now more pocketable and the Face ID works flawless.... As i have sweat hands, touch ID does not work most time for me.... So it is huge upgrade for me.

I switched from my iPhone 7 Plus of 3 months to the X and the 7 Plus feels like history. There is no user experience as good as Face ID and the gestures. Gestures have convinced me that I do not need the home button anymore.

This is a personal opinion. YMMV.

I upgraded from my iPhone 6 Plus of nearly 3 years...so far I can see everything perform at amazing speed. No more lag for me anymore...lol. Battery life for X is impressive.

the battery life is good... can last more than a day... I think ios 11 in iPhone X plays a big role in that.

I charge mine whenever I reach the office, coming back from lunch and when at home after work. If you're someone like myself who uses over 70% batt usage on Pokemon Go, it's only going to last you half a day.

Try it yourself and think hard and buy the one you are most comfortable with. Because if you come here and ask, 90% and above will tell you to get the X, obviously.

Battery life is good. For me it's better than my iPhone 7 Plus which usually doesn't last me a full day. On iOS 11 Beta 2.

I think u meant 11.2 beta 2? For now I'm only on 11.1. Previously people were praising 11.1 for better batt life over 11.0.2 and 11.0.3 but still quite disappointing. I'm still pretty skeptical on 11.2, but I've to try it for myself when the public version is released.

Yes 11.2 Beta 2. 11.1 Beta 5 was still draining battery like mad. iOS 11.2 Beta 1 can see improvement in battery life even on the 7 Plus.

If the final release of 11.2 really exhibits batt life improvement then it'll be a blessing! But I suppose maybe in another week of two.

i have been using 7+ before switching to 8+ for about a month then switching to X on 4 Nov. 8+ is definitely better than 7+ in terms of performance and battery life. As for X, so far, I am quite neutral. I don't see any improvement in battery life - almost the same. The funny thing is i find launching apps and internet seems to be faster than 8+(although they share the same processor). The current size (held in your hands), seems much more comfortable than 8+. IMO

you'll never know unless you'll try it.. .

been a 7plus user for 10 months, switched to N8 coz of big screen, CIS deal and port-in. 3 weeks into using it and dunno why 4G is very slow so I returned it. Sold my 7Plus to get a used 8Plus, love the 8 plus weight and speed. 2 weeks into it, I thought I can hold back the IpX, but cannot. . though I miss the big screen esp in n8 but loving the X so far.. .just hoping most apps are optimized to maximize the screen.. .

now can sleep at night lor :s13::D:s12::s22:

Start using Face ID and you will never go back Touch ID. :)
OLED obviously has its merits and issues, just like any technologies out there. For once silver or grey black doesn’t matters to me since the front part is same for both. The hardware is definitely very capable, just need some fine tuning in the OS and apps to get the user experience for high performance there. The more compact form factor is better over the plus versions of iPhone. Just took me a couple of hours to get use to without the home button, good direction since the gestures on iOS is very mature and precise. Reviews are reviews, use one to really get to know it. Truetone display works very well for me coming from iphone 6s+ that doesn’t have it. I am particular about the white point temperature which i love the 5500K since that is where the red, green, and yellow colours looks well saturated at this warm setting. Hence the proper white balance on the display is what i loved most, just like how I like my wall lights are also on led mixed tones.

Finally if you are in the Apple ecosystem, things work seamlessly. The migration from my iphone 6s+ to iPX is rather impressive and interesting :) If you are not using a Mac system, then good time for you to try out together with an iPhone.

Battery life is the same as iPhone plus. The rate they decrease is 10% per hr usage

I used to use a iphone 6, then i use s7 edge, followed by s8+, and today i got my iphoneX.
I must say that Apple shifting to android is easy using the "SMART SWITCH" software.
For android shifting to apple, im using the "MOVE to iOS" app found in the google store.
