I knew someone who coded a FX trading system. The system was backtested and found to have an edge. So he set the system to run and was profitable for 6 months. There were tens of thousands of trade transacted during that 6 month. Those were live trades with small quantums but I recalled that he pumped in 50k. The story in the following 6 months was the reverse and he net lost monies. With due respect, you may have a good concept but it still needs time to prove that it may be profitable.
