EUR/USD

I expect EUR/USD to spike to 1.118-20 during FOMC interest rate decision. :D

Currently trading close to intraday low at 1.1132.

What did I say? Uncle Trump just tweeted. US will implement another 10% tariffs on China from 1st Sep.

Also those vested in Hong Kong have you press the eject button yet? Red walkers from the north are coming. :s13:

HK is having political problems compounding current issues. Its going to be tough and Singapore may well benefit from the ensuing mayhem there.

So much talk from MAS about telling banks not to target HK monies... but seriously, the Banks need not be doing that... if the political problem does not get addressed, it may eventually lead to funds outflow and Singapore is a natural destination.

It depends... if they can engineer one without shattering its citizens' confidence in the RMB, they may well do so. I think China is prepared for this and has already be clamping down on all the outflow channels.

I think we are just going to see another round of competitive currency devaluation across the board for many countries. This would not be explicit until such time the US treasury starts naming currency manipulators. Globalisation is going to be dead gong by how the US has been slapping tariffs across anyone who has a surplus against them... this may well continue until production eventually moves back home.

this week emo abit because i miss out on great shorts as my scam pairs didnt retrace for re-shorts :(

June July were distribution mode for many pairs like AJ EJ GJ NJ AU EU GU NU...looking at the dumps, maybe August might be accumulation mode for short-term reversal, do keep in mind that the current sentiments on these pairs are still majority Longs so more dumps are expected :s22:

and for the first time, i have NO CLUE! for a direction bias for NFP after this week's movements :D

US and Asia markets all bloodbath. I received margin calls two trading days in a row! :s13:

I don't think RMB will be devalued too drastically unless really critical such as full scale war.

My CNY holdings currently down -0.96% excluding past gains. Returns of about 4% p.a. will defray a bit of forex losses.

Total Return
(-S$1,491.50) -0.96%

Hot money flow will cause asset bubbles and inflation.

Big Long Week for Aussie and Kiwi ahead

looking forward to short-term reversal mode for xxx/USD xxx/JPY pairs...UJ Uchf Ucad likely to retrace higher for reshorts earlier

had Ucad shorts on friday after waiting whole bloody day for a trade but worth the wait :)

as usual, my views are non-scalp-non-countertrend perspective

Same thoughts about going long on xxx/USD

Waiting for gold to retrace back to 1432 region before going long. The volatility of gold is crazy :s22:
