do you mean almost get stopped out before it reverse in your favour again? One thing I learnt from FX, is don't be 'overwhelmed' by what you see. Things can look like gone case at one moment and the next it swings around in your favour or vice versa. Esp. true if you r a swing trader. It all depends on the timeframe you trade.
In fact most of my winning position came from those that nearly hit my stop (like only 1 or 2 pips away)![]()
great trade over here.congrats
I hoped you didn't go long. Aussie pairs currently in a heavy downtrend.
Thanks!
Well, its just part of trading plan.
Looking for shorts on EUR/USD & NZD/USD today.
I did. SL hit.
Me too. My EU and NU shorts are underwater now.
Say u long, u hit with a retracement or something, it almost hit your stop, thing changes the next moment and it rally to ur profit target...do you mean almost get stopped out before it reverse in your favour again?
Here are my pending orders off S/R zones:
Long EURUSD at 1.3210
Short AUDUSD at .8995
Long USDJPY at 97.90
Long NZDUSD at .9730 (filled)
As always, trade with caution.![]()
Wanna hear some views on this. I got into a trade which the timeframe that i trade (hourly) shows a hammar pinbar. However after I got into the trade, rechecked the daily and found out that the daily is a bearish engulfing.
Would you guys enter such a trade in the first place given these 2 conditions?

Your question is not getting to the root of the matter.
You saw an opportunity on the 60minute timeframe. I don't know what it is, but it's not only a bar isn't it. You understood something about buyers and sellers.
Then why do you care about what's happening on the daily chart, and moreover you are looking at 1 bar in the daily chart. You are looking at a word in a sentence or paragraph. By itself, it's meaningless.
The daily chart has it's own story but your story in on the 60 minute. I know a lot of people look at higher timeframe to confirm this and go into smaller time frame. If it works for you, great. If it just confuses you, try to stick to 1 timeframe and see how it works out. I personally get a headache if i do that multiple TF thing made popular by a Dr A
any views on the aussie guys?
