Freesync/Adaptive Sync only works on Display Port at the moment!

HOW TO ENABLE ADAPTIVE SYNC;

1. Turn Freesync ON in the monitor settings
2. Let the monitor disconnect and reconnect
3. Taskbar > Right Click > Nvidia Control Panel > Global Settings > Monitor Technology > Gsync Compatible -- Hit Apply. The monitor should disconnect and reconnect as if you were doing a driver update.
4. If your monitor is over 60hz (it likely is) you will have to go into Change Resolution > Select your monitor -- change it to max refresh rate.
   NOTE: G-SYNC WILL NOT BE WORKING YET.
5. In the Nvidia Control Panel, Go to Display > Set Up G-Sync
6. Under "1. Apply Following Changes" Choose to enable in Full Screen or Windowed & Full Screen Mode (user choice, I currently am testing with windowed + full screen)
7. Under "2. Select the display you would like to change" Select the panel(s) you want to apply this to. The Panel you are selecting should resemble this, with the G-sync logo on it.
8. Under "3. Display Specific Settings," check "Enable settings for the selected display model."
9. Go to the bottom right, click apply. The monitor should disconnect and reconnect, just like you did a driver update.

My Monitor is Crossover 34U100. Same as Prism+ X340.

Resolution : 3440x1440
Refresh Rate : 100Hz
Freesync Range : 42-100Hz
GPU : EVGA GTX 1080 Ti FTW3

Status : Working. Tested in G-Sync Pendulum and Monster Hunter World. No flickering issues detected. Smooth as butter.

Please share your results if you have Nvidia Pascal/Turing GPUs with Freesync monitors.

I agree. It will be good to share here which are the monitors that work with G-Sync. Too bad my Dell monitor don't support FreeSync, but this can be a good place to find one that works.

1) MSI MAG27CQ 1440p VA panel(48hz-144hz) + rtx2080: Slight input lag and lower fps.
( FIXED : CAP your FPS below G-SYNC limit ! setting max fps @ 140 = less input lag)

2)Samsung C24FG70 1080p VA panel(70hz-144hz)+ gtx1080: Slight brightness flickering issues and black screen intermittently. Slight input lag and lower fps. Will report back if manage to fix it with CRU .
( FIXED : Unplug monitor power point for 5min , no more black screen/ flickering so far )

Try using RivaTuner to limit your game's FPS to 140 Hz so that it does not go near 144 Hz. That might solve your flickering issue.

Here is a collection of data on Freesync monitors that works or might not work with Nvidia GPUs.

You can also use CRU application to extend the range of Freesync.

Results may vary.

honestly, the resolution is pretty low since i was using a Acer Predator X34 previously with G-Sync....

you can tell the individual pixel easily... but gaming experience is definitely better since you see a lot more....

No problem so far with my freesync Acer ED323QURA with gsync turn on.Test on bf5 and result better than before update.

Using x340 too. Seems like for x340 it is better to use 1440@100hz.
1080@144hz seems to mess it up a bit?

Nice. That is great news! Considering the XB variant costs 3 times as much and has a noisy fan at the back just to cool down the stupid 4K G-Sync module.

This monitor will be the go-to monitor for 4K gaming on a monitor.

That is great news. 120Hz is still plenty fast especially at that massive screen resolution.
