Fresh nursing grads in SG can’t get jobs… so what “shortage” are we talking about? 🤔

Imagine male sinkies, kenna canning in school, do ns, do reservist, annual IPPT, standby mob, RT, go overseas must inform mindef, and cannot find job.

Female sinkies only got monthly period, cannot find job, please kaopei lesser bit ok?:(
Ya then at 35 yrs old can only buy a 2rm bto and an additional "singles" levy of $15,000 on top of selling price

kinda shocking and dunno to believe or not
i rem last time nursing is a iron bowl industry, and forever hiring & demand>supply for locals, to an extent that they had to import high amount of FT batches where its around 1:4 - 1:5 local:FT ratio form what i observed for wards

is it going the cheaper better faster route now too? :o

Maybe lack of experience so not in the priority queue. Just apply for clinic nurse job to accumulate experience. Where they mentioned shortage? Shortage a few years back so through that few years, they hire FT to fill up the gaps. Sinkie jobs are highly in demand to not only locals but foreigners too. Because our sinkie currency cannot fight, very strong.
