try the bedok 511 hc fried hokkien mee. The one with a husband and wife couple. ONLY selling hokkien mee and nothing else.

Their HKM is the wet type, chilli spicy and ingredients very fresh. Always long queue too. smelly smelly wait for 15-20mins mininum

tt time pass by golden mile after hoot reel than go there have hkm before leaving than hoot 1 small plate try wah finish everything within 8 mouth

sg nowadays like not much nice hkm even those famous like chuan also find normal only the only 1 tt is good is when the lor 29 hkm still at upper east coast road there n was fried by the father but after the father pass away the hkm cook by the son also cmi

the 1 cook by his son in law at lagoon food center last i ate still quite decent got 70% is fil power but tt was few yrs back le

Ya, agreed. The stall auntie quite cocky also, always remind you about the long waiting time with an under-lying tone of 'if you don't want to wait also nvm'.

Was shocked how small the portion was when i got it. It's just cheap yellow noodles. Prawn, pork portion small ok la, expected, but noodles so cheap also give so small portion.

I went to eat the lagoon one just few weeks back, still ok. But price increase le……..

I’m starting this thread, because some of the old ones all got edmw verify-walled. Cant see a thing.

background, I ate 3 HKM for the last 24h. All I feel not good enuf. Even my usual Favourite Chuan HKM didn’t do well today.

any suggestions? I like it wet, moist, packed with wok hei. Rich zhup.
My other GO is Swee guan. But I gradually find his hkm overly cooked, a bit too nuah for my liking.

Nvr order hkm for years.
I tried not to eat it.
Also hm too.
Very unhealthy n can shoot up high blood easily.

In before someone recommend 618 yishun again, which sucks.... both hokkien mee & carrot cake !

Go for Senja Rd food Mall (the big one) or Ga-hock coffeeshop along Bukit Timah rd.
Tis 2 my current ones to go for Hkm

Last ate many many months back was fried by his son. Still not bad but I went see the reviews today, many 2 or 3 stars.

Ate years back .... father was the cook .. yah ..quite nice .. the wet version .... son was taking orders .. wah this one long2 wait man during peak hour! Haven't been back ..... who ate recently .. nice or not?

Have not manage to try 618 HKM cos it is far away from my house.
I am also curious about the carrot cake.
