I'm not so familiar with the interface, where do i find the SG:HK$ exchange rate on the FSM website? definitely interested in their HK-listed ETFs, especially the Vanguard Europe and Vanguard Asia ETF

just need to confirm that exchange+commission, that FSMOne will be cheaper than SCB.

Don't want a situation of FSMOne having better commission at 0.08%, but they eat forex spread, end up cost more than SCB.

Yah now you know right? Its all an oligopoly

Sent from Sony E6533 using GAGT

My thinkorswim charge 5 bucks for stock trades. IB is even lower I hear. And these are trades on USA exchange which are far bigger and far more established than sgx.

Sinkieland is a joke when it comes to innovation and proper competition at times. Some things seem to be controlled.

Ok, good to know that FSM exchange rate is better than SCB. I already have an FSM account, so maybe now good time to start funding it with HKD

US$
SCB Buy US$1,000 cost: $$1,321.21
FSM Buy US$1,000 cost: S$1,318.40

HKD
SCB Buy HK$10,000 cost S$1,686.05
FSM Buy HK$10,000 cost S$1,668.03

Is anyone trading with them provide a view. They mentioned that even for USD trades the commission is 0.08% with a minimum of $10 per trade.

FSMOne commission rates on the US exchanges (for stocks and ETFs) remain at 0.08%, subject to minimum of US$8.80.

Do note the dividend handling fee for US stocks.

For HK stocks no dividend handling fee, min comm of HK50 is also lower than SGX and USA stocks.

seems like now manually buy ETF RSP is better on FSMone? 0% fees? Dollardex can do auto reinvest, but lesser products available.

If you read this thread, the comm for shares/ETF is clearly stated as 0.08% subject to a minimum comm. Please don't mislead people by saying its 0% If 0% how is FSM going to make money? :s13:

Currently using pre-funded vickers account for trading. Buying is $10 and the selling is $25 commision.

With FSMone pre-funded the buying and selling is only $10?
Can someone confirm? Thanks.

Yes, it is 0.08% with min $10. So if you buy lesser than $12500, it is flat rate $10

So you mean FSM give better exchange rate?

If I buy using Vickers cash upfront, shares go into CDP.
If I buy in FSMOne, it goes into custodian account right?
