Buying RSP for LSE stocks should incur 0.15% (min GBP) fee. But $50 seems too much for $2500 notional amount

can you transfer your holdings in RSP out or must sell? If I already have a particular ETF (non rsp) with FSM and start a RSP on that ETF, I will have 2 separate holdings (cash and RSP)?

Better check fees as well on ETFs sold via FSM.

I recently ( 2 months only ) started a RSP for VUAA.
$2500 per month and the charges per transaction seem to be around $50! which seems crazy to me.
Wonder if I should be continuing the RSP or just continue with the actively managed funds.

since its supposed to be 0% processing fee can you show the screenshot of invoice what you get charged $50 for?

if you got charged processing fee you should raise a support ticket with FSMOne.

Looking at your screen shot it seems that FSMOne gave you a $50 discount!

You asked for $2500 RSP but they only deducted S$2435 from your auto-sweep account. Thats a discount!

But the 'truth' is that when you key in an RSP order for $2500, they will only execute RSP for about $2450, leaving $50 as a buffer in case there a unforseen charges or massive exchange rate fluctuations.

They only deducted S$2435 from your auto-sweep account. They didn't deduct $2500, so obviously they didn't charge you $2500 for the RSP.

Discount ? I dont see it..only 2435 is invested

hmm ok I see the deduction now.The ' missing ' amount hasn't been eaten up by FSM

My RSP is for $2500 but why have they only deducted and invested 2435 ? Is it bcoz it can't be fractional ?

The remaining $65 should be in ur cash acct. You should do proper checking first or ask fsm1.

I think it's answered in their FAQ (question 7):

https://secure.fundsupermart.com/fsm/advice-services/faq/5820/?rank=1

There's a 2.5% buffer because of FX.

Correct me if I'm wrong

Isn't VOO etf same as buying any other stock on the US market?

And since that's the case won't the fsmone flat fee applies?

If you are referring to the last few post they are talking about the FSMOne unique RSP ETF program. Can read more about this in their website.

Thanks for the clarifying.

The RSP program seems a good fit for folks wanting to DCA!
