Hi! There is a deep scratch across my tablet screen... Ouch! The surface screen is just the protective one above the main LCD screen rite? Do you think replacing it is expensive?

Which model do you mean? The one with touch screen which it also have the ability to sense fingers or the one that only able to sense the stylus pen?

If it is the one that only sense stylus pen, it would cheaper than the one that allow all.

Connecting my fujitsu lifebook to the internet via a wireless router. Problem is, the connection disconnects on its own on and off quite a bit. I also have an ibook and this does not happen on my ibook at all. Is there something that I'm not doing right?

Try switching your power management plan to "high performance" to see if the issue will go away. If you prefer using "power saver", you can configure the wireless adapter to maximum performance using the guide here.

i gt 1 problem with my fujitsu laptop.

when i either plug in my printer or external HDD using USB to my laptop, i gt electric shock when touching the area near the mouse pad. anyone can help mi to solve this qns? it hapen all the time.

is there any way to avoid electric shock?

i getting random blue scn death , memory dumping den hang ... sian.. sumtimes boot up also cannot sense my router ..... den must restart den can sense .. E8210 ....

i'm currently using the fujitsu S7110 from nus.. my dvd rom drive no longer gets detected on my laptop, but when i try it(the drive) on another laptop, it works perfectly. on my laptop, i'm able to eject the drive and there is the normal sound produced when the disc is spinning. however, nothing gets detected on my windows. i went to check under control panel (device manager), but my drive is not shown there.

from what i see, it seems to be my laptop's problem rather than the drive.. any advice on what i should do?

My dvd drive seems to be at the verge of spoiling, at first the tray can be pulled out about 90% exposed, now i can pull out almost the whole thing(100% can be seen) as if i can just ripped it off. But it still works, should i go to funan?

Might be some electric appliances that causes this such as your printer/external hdd. You might want to check if you do not have any USB plugged in, and if there is any electric leak at the mouse pad area?

That don't seem to be a problem to me as long as the whole device works fine.

send the lappie down for repair cos got lodas of requent BSD , blue scrn prob + memory dumping den hang.. now at nite they call me to say registry or sumthing the boot thingy got prob must reformat , must pay 50 bucks using the sch ver. so i was thinking if i reload using the sch's won;t the freaking prob. come back ? wad shd i do ? let them reformat and let prob come back or wad ?

If i am not wrong, your motherboard cannot support 533FSB. If you have ur CPU part no, check it out in the net and see if your FSB is 400 or 533? if your FSB is 533, then yes you have just waste S$1000.

Since you already justify that when there isn't any USB plugged in, there isn't any electric leak at the touch pad there. then you ought to send in to Fujitsu Service Centre for repair for either the USB port is faulty or the 3rd party USB appliances that you plugged in does is faulty.

My LCD Goes black

Hi my fujitsu lappy's lcd screen goes black whenever i plug in the power supply after a few secs....
it goes black but u still can see the outline of windows, when running on battery it is ok but starts to flicker occasionally and after sometime it will go black also. what is the problem with my LCD screen? what are the solutions. Anyone help pls! thankyou

i managed to reformat my laptop E8210 from vista to xp ... so far faster , my cs graphics less cock up now ! haha .. i got pass the SATA installation during win installation
