i Bought the S6410 13.3' with the latest Intel 8300 CPU and 250GB HDD and 3GB ram. good for office and home use. the port replicator is very useful.

the new CPU really works good on Vista and now is so smooth and fast opening emails and excel spreadsheets. The 1.3mp webcam also works very well. really a mobile workhorse.

I was deciding between the Dell M1330 and this and in the end settle for this lappy becos of the port replicator and the black KB (I almost see reflection on silver keys) and 3 USB ports.
now the price of $3188 is so attractive.

thanx for advice... sounds like the external design of this laptop is good.
is the processor the usual core2 duo?

how's the graphics for this like?

im wondering whether the lifebook series are worth it

haha i just bought a s6510.. it's light definitely at 1.7kg.. the screen is 14.1" wide.. cool.

managed to get warcraft and CS running without any prob.. the only thing is that i can't run swat 4 on it.. too bad it uses intel gma965 x3100.. =(

guess i have to sacrifice some good graphics for the weight.. haha..

try to check the system at this website

www.systemrequirementslab.com

it check you computer to see if it is able to run it ... I alway use this to check if my lappy cant run the game ....

certainly the Core 2 Duo. This is the latest Penryn C2D CPU for notebooks. inbuilt graphics on board. not for gamers but this makes the notebook light and save power. i have owned many brands of notebook in the past and i must comment that the new CPU is really fast and works like a charm as compared to its predecessors.

Those that can be written on like a notepad are commonly known as tablet. i do own one, T4215. whether its of any good would depend solely on the user. if you dun use the functions frequently, then its a waste of cash buying it cos it costs more than a regular laptop.

the useful stuff normally would be that you can write on it using a pen, eg writing in msn. :s12:
For presentation, u can just turn the screen for others to see rather than you have to move the whole laptop for ppl to view and best part is that you can still edit or write on the screen unlike normal laptop which u nid to key in the wordings or use the mouse for features like writing on presentation.

well.. you can play on the tablet at Fujitsu shops or any IT show and c if you like it.. =)
but one thing to note.. the startup of tablet will generally be slower compared to laptops of the same chipset or specs due to the loading of more files for tablet features. :)

Hi there. Just asking.. does the Fujitsu service centre have services like the adding of RAM? I would like to add more RAM to my 1yr old laptop but I don't want to void it's 3yr warranty. The warranty stated that it does not cover failure due to non-"approved" people, but it didn't mention that warranty would be void if I added parts to it myself.

Cheers

Adding Ram by yourself do not viod the warranty for the notebook, but if you are not sure, u can just walk in anytime request the service center to add in for you, they will gladly help :D

HI Guys,

My Acer just dead, need a Laptop for work. I will either need to buy a laptop and get a signature pad separately or just get a tablet.

What do you all think of this offer?
Worth buying at this price?
Thanks

Well, to me. Do not save a penny on the battery, should there be anything happened using 3rd party which is not sold by authorised Fujitsu dealer. You will be the losing end. :)

Well, I strongly believe it is good enough for Counterstrike.

So far S7211 which is somehow the son of S7111, which is an improved and new model. Seems to be selling like Hot-cake rather than getting complains. :D
