buy now or wait for pc show?

Hi,

I'm new here. Need some advice. My ac adapter (for Fujitsu LB S7110) was faulty. Had intended to purchase a new 1 lately but wasn't sure where to buy it from.

Was thinking whether i should wait for the pc show and purchase there or just buy from sim lim? Which will be cheaper?
Also, what's the market price for the adapter?

Please advise. Thanks. =)

Sim Lim Square might cost more, but PC show is only in June. So means you can live without your laptop for 2 months? :)

And buying from Sim Lim might not be more ex. Fujitsu original accessories are pretty ex. Adaptors can cost easily more than a $100 for original Fujitsu ones.
Cheaper 3 party OEM ones should be around $60-70.
Or you can try to shop for 2nd hand ones in Sim Lim. May or may not be cheaper.

If u need to use ur laptop everyday then i suggest u to go SLS buy the original Fujitsu A/C adapter. Your laptop costs more expensive then the A/C adapter then y not spend abit more on the original one. I think the price range should be $150-$180. U can try asking a few shops and do some comparsion be4 purchasing.

You sure its the adapter that is faulty? Why not change the fuse in the 3 pins plug? It might just because of a blown fuse.

The 32-bit editions of Windows XP and Vista do not show the total amount of memory installed. Instead it reports the total amount of memory installed minus the memory allocated to hardware, such as a graphics card, and other hardware resources. This behaviour is normal with the 32-bit editions of Windows XP and Windows Vista, and has no performance impact.

Hey fren, most of the time a wire for AC to be burn is because the wire is twisted. When the wire is twisted the heat will build around that area and might cause the rubber to melt. When you keep your AC dont turn and turn and turn like a snake strangling your AC, this way sure die one day !! Most of us practise this !! This apply to the rest of electric appliances Ac Adpater.

By the way your AC port for the laptop lose liao thats why your laptop are only able to charge at certain angles.
