Buy OEM XP while you can and while it is available in the market to switch down to XP. However, my best recommendation is, save the money and upgrade the RAM. :) You will still need it afterall and performance wise will be much better.

What I can help you is, perhaps you list down the commonly used softwares then maybe I can give you my 2 cents worth of comments whether I have tried before using Vista. :p

You do not need to waste $$ for XP, for your information Vista Business come with a XP licence also which mean you can downgrade for free, take note its only for Business and above, If you wish to downgrade to XP, this is what you can do ..

1.Bring to service center to downgrade, they will help you if you just purchase.
2.Reseller may, and I mean MAY ... help you to downgrade.
3.Go to asiapac and get a recovery CD for XP and downgrade yourself, please download and copy all drivers to a CD or ext hdd 1st, I don't think they come with software driver CD.

For more information on this issue, you can check on the net on downgrade issue, I find one of the link with some information Here for your reference. :s12:

Error in IE 7. Help!

Any kind soul can help me on this?

I have this error message whenever I open my IE7. It will appear on every tab/webpage that I open. I already tried reinstalling windows a few days back and it was fine until I opened IE7 again.

Here's a picture of the error.

Untitled-1.jpg

I can use Firefox but because some of the websites I visit require IE so I have no choice. I also cleared my cache, temporary internet files, do defrag, etc but the thing still appears.

Can anyone help? The message is kind of driving me nuts.

Thanks in advance.

fujitsu is using different type of ram also, when purchase the ram just need to get a notebook ram DDR667 ... any brand will do but you can get those more recommanded one, take note the ram you purcahse from outside warranty is cover from the place you purchase and not by fujitsu.

check with South Asia computer Asia what is their dead pixel coverage, normally service center will not replace the LCd if it is just 1 or 2 dead pixel, if I am not wrong for fujitsu it is 6 or 7 ....
