school offers on S7110 are not having the same specs with the one from the web... eg.. no bluetooth, no fingerprint sensor.. etc right?

Can anyone tell me if I should buy now at one of the showroom with the promotion & stuff still on(i.e. the promotion that we can get in the march I.T. show), or wait for the IT show in june? Will there be more new models & slightly better deal?

my fujitsu laptop screen is a bit damaged

my lcd screen is abit damaged, the centre portion has a bit of crack cos i accidentally sat on it when i was cleaning my room. so what should i do now? they said i have to pay$600 for repair of my lcd screen one of the fujitsu staff in funan it mall said. but i wonder whther is this true? i dunhave the money to send it for repair. why is it not under warranty? anyone can help me on this? my hp is 90907982.

When u r doing the registeration for the warranty, under term and conditions, there is a passage where physical damage and water spillage is not covered. lets take cars for example. if u accidentally scratched it or some1 scratched it and u sent back to workshop. is it covered under warranty even if it has a 1st yr warranty?

answer is no.. cos in the industry, not much companies will offer a physical damage warranty. even if there is.. the company most likely will go bankrupt.

i'm afraid the only way is to send to service centre or you can project the screen out to an external monitor.

to clean the fan, if will haf to send to svc centre.
but when u send in and is required to pay for S$80(B4 GST) svc charge, then since paying, u can oso request for a full hardware check. but fan is replaceable if u r still under 3 yrs warranty.

Yesh, it is true. Fujitsu itself is all made in Japan. Unless you are talking about Fujitsu does sell any set that is lower than $1.5K. Then there is a possibility that the set itself is not made in Japan. but neverthelessly, you can check the bottom of the laptop.

Do note that the Desktop of Fujitsu, the lower end one which is around $800 which is made in Singapore and another higher end one is made in China. So note on this part. Where else for the laptop, majority or 95% of them are made in Japan.

Fujitsu service center does that but it is costly. The service charge itself is $80 w/o GST.

The promo is more or less or even BETTER than IT Show.
