ok i went to service my laptop and they didn't ask for my sales invoice, so i presume my onlnie registration worked.

they said that if they reformat my os, i have to pay 50 bucks because not covered under warranty, is that for real?

they say its free if i let ppl at singapore poly format it, fyi i bought this at the poly roadshow in april 07...

yes.. it doesn't cover software issue..
if cover software, i think everyone will go there and format every now and then.. then ppl with real trouble will queue up til they go mad.. :s13:

buy from school, reformat there of course free.. :D

I'm currently wondering which model will be more useful for programming and gamming since i'm going to use it overseas... AMILO Pro V3545NP, Lifebook S7110ENP, or Lifebook E8210NP?

Go for either E8210NP or AMILO Pro.

The S7110ENP is more for people who want small and light. Even thought it is not that light. HAHA.

The polytechnics should provide free formatting and installation of software. It is pretty straight forward and things can be done easily with aid from friends in the respective polytechnics.

Look for Fujitsu service center at Henderson (6272 0088) or Digital Asia (6333 3339) at Funan.
