windows 7 64 bit OS. for the hidden recovery partition. i accidently remove it when i 1st time reformat.. :(:(

Hmm that's a first! :O

Curious, Would you be intending to update to Windows 10?
This way, you will be able to create a USB installation media and have it on hand at all times.

Once updated and activated on Win 10, simply follow the steps listed here and you are good to go!

If you intend to stay on 7, here's what you can do.

Step 1:
Download Win 7 ISO and burn it on to a disk

Step 2:
Then get get your existing Windows 7 Product Key by following the first method - script method - listed under "Finding the Windows Key Without Any Software (Advanced Users Only)" from this site - http://www.howtogeek.com/206329/how-to-find-your-lost-windows-or-office-product-keys/

Step 3:
Reinstall your OS
for this one the windows 7 product key can use the key at the bottom of the laptop?

what about those drives software?

Haha it's okay!

10 is a free upgrade to anyone with Windows 7 and Windows 8.1
29th July would be the last day that it is offered as a free upgrade - hmm - so still got some time to read up about it before deciding! :)

Yeah, should not be an issue upgrading :)
Do check your Windows update to see if it's there already.
(will have to install all required service pack updates etc first. )

pros and cons?

Pros -
1. Sleeker interface
2. General performance improvements start up / shut down times are faster on 10.
3. Basically not many people liked 8 &8.1 due to it's steep learning curve and touch biased interface - however deep down in it's coding, windows 8 has a much better kernel than 7 (this translates to an overall performance improvement). 10 is a polished interface of 8 and 8.1 with a start bar!

Cons -
1. there are quite a few Privacy related settings that needs to be disabled
2. I did encounter problems trying to get the graphics driver of a 10 year old AMD Turion 64 x 2 & ATI X1270 notebook to work - Nvidia and Intel laptops are much better supported.

Don't mention it :)

Your existing files and apps will be kept at the initial upgrade.

Once upgraded, you can choose to do a reset and remove everything (fresh install) - would advice to do this as it's afterall a major OS upgrade and it allows for easier troubleshooting of unexplained sluggishness and lags that some people encounter after upgrading their OS.

looks so much easier to reformat laptop without the recovery disk.
for this is only windows 10. does it also update the drivers? or do i need to download the files from the main fujitsu website?

If you are upgrading, most drivers should still work and
Windows update would cover most drivers.

If you do a clean install after however, you would have to rely on both the Fujitsu website, Windows update and maybe Nvidia (if you have a Nvidia GPU) for the latest drivers

1. Check Windows update on your PC.
2. See if there's a Windows icon on your task bar.

Edit: should be there
