Is the slow motion real or for demonstration purposes? If real, then idea ish good but need a lot of improvement in order to be practical. Our meal time crowd flows are very high. Take too long likely will induce impatience, and vandalism unfortunately.
But if this is end of the day cleaning, so that the few cleaners do not have to work OT, i think can be viable with some improvement.

wapiang oi, where got robot so slow one. not even efficient.

The thing to do is to change all the plates and bowls and utensils to one specific color, let's say periwinkle (#be93d4). it must be a color which does not match the common colors u would find inside a hawker ctr then the machine vision can isolate accurately. why use object recognition here? do not use that. tensorflow is known to be slow and heavy. that is why you see the robot pause in front of the table so long to process the recognition. u think ppl want to wait?

use color recog not object recog for the robot to operate fast. totally wrong approach.
