Carousell has it, I bought my privacy for a7 from there.

I think the seller is ourteeshop or something.

I was in JB yesterday but already back home when you posted this.

Anyway, just saw in Qoo10, so it's not that rare here. :)

ooo. are you guys able to provide the links?

also, i'm not confident of pasting it myself...thats why im looking for a shop that sells it so that the seller can help me paste too

it seems like there are no matte (non-glass) screen protectors for these phones due to the curved nature of their screens :(

guess i'll look for the clear ones instead ><

There used to be a booth in the atrium of Sim Lim Square where someone does customized screen protector. I'd one done for a tablet some time back.

Not sure if she's still there, though.

how long ago was that? :)

i think even if customised it will be hard for a matte screen protector to stay on the phone coz of the curved screen...

I've not gone to SL recently so I won't know if she's still there. Always seen her before and after I did that piece. Booth is somewhere opposite the Apple shop, IIRC.

If it's just the curved corners, she's able to do that. But if you're really referring to covering the screen 100%, I understand that's not possible with most protectors since the screen is not completely flat in the first place.

I am a first gen A5 user. Most of the time no reception using M1 on MRT. But my dad has Note 4 and he has reception while I don't have.
Have you tried swapping your SIM cards around to see the result? Or even get M1 to reset your line?

thanks man :) perhaps i'll head down and take a look later :)
Good luck! And when you're there and have spare time, no harm checking with the other shops (since there are quite a few repair shops there) to see if any of them customize screen protectors too. :)

the lady is still there, but she advised me against it >< she said the customised protector will not fully cover the phone (just the screen) and will look really ugly.

i went around bugis looking for better choices and i realised that there aren't even CLEAR plastic screen protectors (i usually only go for matte) available >< only tempered glass everywhere :(

Yeah, guess with most people asking for tempered glass, not many bother to produce the plastic ones anymore.

I actually have a couple of the A-series and non are fully covered but I don't really care - better some than none and I hardly notice until I delibrately look at it. :D

the thing i don't like about tempered glass is the cost and its ease of shattering. yes, it protects your original screen, but just a normal drop will render it useless.

i love matte plastic screen protectors most because they not just deter fingerprints, but being thick enough, they also offer almost the same type of protection as tempered glass. and best of all, they don't shatter upon dropping your phone.

i'm already using S7E and Passport SE liao...if not i will get an A7 =:p

Yup, turned out to be quite solid even though A-series is known to be just mid-range. ;)
