has anyone bought a5 from samsung shop/

some shop throw in the Line battery as free gift, while some throw in addiitional SD card.

can request one?

I believe the original while-stock-lasts offer from Samsung is the Line powerbank.

That Samsung Shop (after all a Samsung distributor, maybe?) could have thrown in the SD card after running out of the powerbank?

Yup, I've seen those other shops giving the Line powerbank with their lower-price A-series as well.

Could be location based issue.

Speed also dependent on telco..

It is also difficult to advise and deduce if it's a phone issue or sim card issue unless u can get another phone to test at the same location..

For me i find still okay for LTE, but for Wifi the antenna seems a little bit weaker than other phones. which is unfortunate since my room is at the edge of the wifi range.

What colors do you all get for your A5/7?

Anyway, i find the A series not bad this year. It's a pretty complete package for a mid range phone, probably the most complete mid range. Camera is decent, performance is good, screen is good, battery life is great, got samsung pay, and got water resistance too.

The only major downside for me it's the price. Like for A7, can get OP3T already if don't mind no warranty. haha.

Did a review too if anyone is interested. Kinda late i know.

The black looks good as always, simple and elegant. If the wallpaper is also black, it will be seamless with the deep black nature of AMOLED display!

Thanks! haha. I like to use black wallpaper on my phones, so AMOLED is a huge plus for me. then plus black bezels, the display will blend in also.

Sorry, but don't have any screen protector on the A7 ya. so can't help much here.

hi guys, is there such a thing as shatter-proof tempered glass? something like not cracking or breaking when it is dropped?

after failing to find the plastic film type of screen protector, i can only try tempered glass. but if all tempered glasses simply shatter upon dropping the phone once, then i'll probably just forget about sticking anything on my screen.

Just got a A7, screen protector so rare. Overall phone dual SIM works well, only thing is how to install another whatsapp for second line in same device? Mate 9 had app twin to have 2nd whatsapp/facebook therefore easy to configure. A7 don't have.

There isnt a twin app feature built in as far as i know. But there is a work around of sort that might work. Can use the Samsung My Knox app to create a separate workspace with another WhatsApp number. But not sure if it's still the same, but i remember last time can only get notifications when I'm in the secure workspace. So it's not exactly ideal also...

depending on how you use or take care of your phone. some people crack it easily, while others can maintain it in good condition.
