you may try entering this code *#272*IMEI# into your phone dialer and hopefully the csc menu pops out to change to xsp.

if it doesn't, then unlikely you can use samsung pay or VOLTE..

*#272*IMEI# is for old device.

i also cant flash CSC, as my current bootloader is newer version than XSP in sammobile.
now just need to wait newer XSP firmware, and just flash directly

what talking you? :D

i tried on my s8+ and it works. you mean your A5 is newer than my S8+?

Nothing to do with bootloader version and there is nothing to do with the firmware version on sammobile. if you are using a non local set, the CSC file will not just replace itself automatically when you flash. even if it does, there will still be an issue.

The thing is if you wish to switch out csc, to change the status of indo local set to sg local set, you need the help of service centre which they will do magic. But i doubt you are able to gain support for your non local set in sg though.

Previously when we tried to load S7 series with european firmware which changes the csc code, only the service centre can change back the code with a downgrade of OS when at the time nougat wasn't available in sg yet...

just read s7 thread, have some user their device choose default CSC, also cant work *#272*imei# , need to bring to Samsung Service Center.

sorry my mistake, thank you for your guidance

The Galaxy A (2018) series may come with a rear fingerprint sensor, but at the bottom of the camera, which could be a better setup than the S8 series and Note8.

Galaxy A (2018) will come with a 18:9 display, similar to Galaxy S8 series. Whether it's the curved Infinity Display as the S8 or a flat Infinity Display, that's the question.. :o

The flat infinity display should be similar to the Gionee M7 and vivo X20, as both of them uses Samsung 18:9 AMOLED flat display panels

How is the camera on the a7?

Decent for the price but no ois if I'm not wrong. Even with f/1.9 lens, quality can't be compared to higher end phones like s8.

But bang for bucks if you just want to point and shoot. For the price, better off with an used s7 edge if you don't mind.
