I don't find it silly cause if you look at Sony SmartWatch 2 the price is
also around there too, me have been holding up till now not yet buy
smart gear . I am still waiting see how far it is going to drop any further
below $300 to $250..

Been monitor all the thread as well some facebook see what is the status
on the price level , so that why I can't help it bring up this topic how far
will it drop..that all I care.. :) Other than that I only know is Samsung is
already prepare to go for the next version of gear, which I doubt it will
take some time to show up in the next big events.

Pretty sure smartwatch not worth more than 300 in the market right now.

I agreed with you. But when Apple launches iWatch end 2014, i guess suddenly smartwatch will be all worth more than 300

Btw,

When it says that Gear is not water resistant, does it mean that it's still rain proof likes normal watches?:s11:

Well I guess it should be rain proof as it pass the water drop test.

Anyway, the screen size is still not big enough for my liking even though I'm not complaining about it and the screen size is just nice for reading.

I wish Gear 2 will have a bigger screen!:s22:

Anyway, I don't find the Gear bulky at all! I cannot understand why some poeple said it is bulky! The feel is just right!:)

It's even sleeker than some of my normal watches lor.:s8:

Say why not try Sony SmartWatch 2 which is abit bigger screen.. , so how
much did you pay for it.. :)

Yeah! My usage and push notifications are moderate. Therefore, battery life is a non issue for me.

So, Gear is right for me. The most I like is that I can make and receive call while driving and traffic police can't catch me! They, LPPL...LOL!

Anyway,

After a night, woke up this morning, received WhatsApp and Messages on my phone but the Gear did not show any Notification at all.

I have to reboot the Gear to recover new notification.

What could have gone wrong?

My Bluetooth is switched on 24/7.
