You tried checking if it is enabled as an accessibility service? I got the same problems but AOKP's built in one is working reliably for me, so I dont use light flow anymore

light flow is enabled as a service. i used AOKP's milestone 3 build and it worked for a while. Then it stopped working.

Just tried gummy rom too, didnt work.

AOKP one doesn't do anything for charging right? as in u can't configure the led to light up during batt charging like how light flow can do?
Cannot. Rather cool with light flow, but then I didn't managed to figure out its inconsistent behaviour

i'm using light flow.. and my phone sleeps like a baby overnight.. i get like 2-3% batt drop over 6 hrs and my Deep Sleep percentages are in the 80%+

so are u sure it's light flow's fault that yr phone never sleep? could be something else though..

how do you check deep sleep %?

Install CPU Spy and it will generate some nice bar graph.

Btw, updated 2nd post with some faqs too.
You all overclock your Nexus to what speed ?

and also the recommended voltages ?
1.4GHz on Jame Bond kernel, but honestly I don't feel any difference. 1.2GHz is sufficient for my normal usage.

Realised that i did not install the adb drivers properly, though i can see android phone at device manager but with yellow triangles:(
I then tried using pdanet but it take forever at the step install to phone so i aborted it.
I was wondering if it is caused by choosing the wrong bit 32 or 64 for gnex tools. For pdanet, should the phone be in debugging mode?

TIA.

For me, I uninstalled the drivers and installed the bare drivers.
First time pdanet worked for me even after cancelling the installation. But second time it didn't despite completing the installation :s22:

So who's using CM9 Nightly liao? :D
I was planning to install CM9 once betas are out, but then AOKP came along and I'm stuck ever since :s13:

Had problem installing the usb driver for phone using gnex tool.

Then tried pdanet and it always hang at installing to phone. I aborted and was able to see bootload at device mgr.

But i can see any adb device in gnex tool. Think i download samsung driver and then can see the adb device gnex tools & perform step 1 to 6 . Very zzzzz nw, tmr will look for rom, etc to flash. Welcome any recommendation of combo. Goodnight :D

Try disabling USB debugging mode. If you on a recent version of windows you shouldn't need drivers for mtp

I on windows xp pro, i did tried disable usb but still cant work.
When i switch to ptp , pc can detect galaxy nexus !

Sad news is there r quite a handful of people facing this problem from what i gathered from the internet.

If can detect mtp device, then i will put off flashing rom, kernel, etc.

However i did a backup in step2 in gnex tools, where will this file be located & what the name? I want to save a copy to my thumbdrive.

Thks.

I had this problem, I forgot exactly the steps but I did remember uninstalling drivers, then starting from scratch with just the drivers and Windows Media Player.

@fifa03fan, i managed to solved the problem by updating the windows media player to version 11, now can see My computer\Galaxy Nexus\Internal Storage.

Where can i find the backup that i did on Gnex tools.

My stock kernel is 4.0.2, do i need to upgrade to 4.0.3 before flashing custom kernel ?

What's the difference between this backp & nandroid backup as it seems like need to perform nandroid backup before flashing custom.

So many choices of ROM & kernel , me blur liao.

Thks.

1) Cant help u cos i do nandroid which can be found in CWM folder on ur phone
2) See if the kernel supports 4.0.2..If i nv rem wrongly, Franco supports min 4.0.2
3) The reason why To perform a NANDROID Backup is listed in the steps before flashing the ROM is at least if the flashing screws up or problematic, u can restore ur NANDROID backup

I reco AOKP..Reviews saying Codename Android also not bad..

@gixxerfied,

I actually wanted to used those that u have listed in post #5 but when i was reading on the franco kernel, it said that it works for 4.0.3 & 4.0.4 and not lower version,

It looks like there are very few custom for 4.0.2 thats why i thought it is better to upgrade the custom to 4.0.3 before find a custom.

Is nandroid backup an app in market that i need to download and run it on my phone ?

Thks again.
