Galaxy Note 5 sleeping issue

icic. all of my 32gb got no sleeping issues..telco sets. maybe i am just lucky~

tested on 3 different sets.

Even without disabling quick launch or any apps. using stock.

Mine 32gb from singtel no sleeping issue also but I just go ahead and disable apps that I dun need.

I observed that if my note 5 went to sleep in stationary position, it never happens the sleeping beauty problem. I always can wake it up. The sleep beauty problem only happened when the phone was in my pocket or hand when it went to sleep mode.

Seems like this issue can't be solved at the moment... some disabled something, ok for them but not for others... i still strongly think that is sammy who write the fw into deeeeeep sleep in order no wakelock issue, to drain batt.. correct?

Don't try those myth method. I format my phone and use audax rom... Fast and no more sleeping beauty . But since h need to root , it will trip your knox and no more warranty.

So u have 2 choice.

1. Root and flash a new rom
2. Wait for sammy sister for an update

Hello, may I know if flashing a new custom rom retains the S Pen functionality such such as screen off memo or smart selection... Etc? Or do I have to install a separate package for that?

i just kena it on my Message app (SMS). I launched it intending to send an sms and it became unreponsive (no reaction). after awhile it becomes reponsive again. this is quite concerning

Hello I m using s6 edge plus. So I can't advise those. But u can go to xda forum for note 5 and check it out. Bear in mind, it will void your warranty
