For Samsung wireless charger users, the thicker back plate somewhat limits your choice of cases. The good news it that bumper cases work just fine. I got a chance to try out both a rubber and metal bumper case and walked away with the latter.

Love Mei metal bumper case. Very thin and light aluminium alloy bumper that provides just the level of protection I was looking for.

bro, what's the clock that you use in your lockscreen? looks very nice. can guide me on how to put it there?

Perhaps I need to print clearly...

The PRINTED screen protector is NOT to protect the glass, but rather, to add some patterns/colours to the phone.

I'm wondering if trying to paste the PRINTED SP will risk peeling out the glass SP by mistake, while applying.

Anyway, since this is a Samsung forum and NOT EDMW, I won't bother to try to explain it in your language then. Thanks for looking at my original post. :s8:

Agree that momax tempered glass is not as oleophobic as it claims.

Actually it makes me wonder if i should stick back to normal sp for the matte ness.

Thanks for sharing! :)

That's about what I'm afraid of... Guess I'll have to think twice about trying it then. =:p

Yes on the coloured bumpers the LOVE MEI words were sand-blasted on the anodised bumper. In the end had to use a piece of Brother labelling machine black 6mm tape to paste over it. I think if you get the silver bumper the text is printed on, hence easier to remove via alcohol/acetone. Anyway, the bumper does reduce reception on the phone. It also de-sensitizes the GPS sensor. Did an experiment with and without bumper, GPS couldn't lock on accurately with bumper on.
Yes, sand-blasted it the correct term. Great tip on the labelling machine 6mm tape (I used a Casio tape instead of Brother).

To be honest, I have yet to notice any decrease in reception in voice, data or GPS since using the Love Mei case. Aluminium would, in theory, attenuate radio signals but since this is only a bumper and not an full aluminium case or body like the iPhone or HTC One, I'd suppose the effect is minimal. YMMV.

For those who've not already viewed it, here's a very informative tear down YouTube video showing amongst many things, the exact positions of the antennas in the Note 3:
4G , GPS, Wifi, Bluetooth antennas - link
3G, GSM antennas - link
You'll gain an appreciation of Samsung using plastic casings after watching this.
