Yes.. 3rd party wont work with every new firmware update. Every batch of 3rd party is tweak according to the current firmware.

Hi, I just misplaced my note 3 S-pen. Any recommendation where to get and how much is a replacement? Those oem ebay ones compatible? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.:o

$38 at samsung experience store in paragon.. Lost mine yesterday :)
