At least we got additional Gravity Rush Remastered in Sep, and Oct Vita has Samurai Warriors 4 which US is not getting. As long as they don't jack up the price of PS Plus in Asia, that's still ok with me.

This might have something to do with the additional Gravity Rush...

Not sure what language Samurai Warriors 4 is going to be, could be Japanese or/and Chinese only, like Toukiden last month.

didn't know about this! thanks for sharing~ Asia PS+ always kena shortchanged imo, sigh

have to consider also that the price for asia is less than the others. can't really say shortchanged unless we pay the same price.

basically we pay to use ps4 online multiplayer, any other stuffs are consider as bonus. if only they make the online multiplayer free like ps3.

Asia PS+ is S$44, US PS+ was US$50 (before the recent price increase), which is about S$68. The price difference was around S$24, only S$2 per month. With the price increase, slightly over S$3 more per month. Still short changed considering it's only slightly cheaper.

Still cheaper. You might as well just divide until per day rate or per hour rate, it's even less difference. Sheesh...
Sure if you get free games from Asia PS+ every day or every hour, go ahead. If you think S$2 per month is too expensive and prefer to get free games months later than other regions, get games in Japanese that you probably won't understand, get lousy PSP games instead of proper games, go ahead. To many of us, S$2 is way more than the money we save from buying in US PSN sales every month instead of the piss poor so-called sales in Asia with only a few items. It's your money, your call, go sheeeeesh yourself.

There's also a Resident Evil sale going on.

SG/Asia PSN Store

GTA V, Witcher 3, Got Eater 2 (Chinese and Japanese vers), The Legend of Heroes SEN NO KISEKI II (Chinese ver), Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (Chinese and Japanese vers)

6 titles in total. I have no idea what award Black Flag (a 2013 game) won that makes it significant today.

Thats true, but most people nowadays didn't get PS+ for the free games. They got it solely for multiplayer for the few games they normally play (cod, fifa, bf, sf5, pes, nba, overwatch etc) because there is no choice. These were the same people who wouldn't bother with PS+ on PS3 at all because those games they are interested in has almost 0% chance of appearing on the free list (NBA 2k16 was the sole exception. Even so 2k17 was already around the corner).

the pre-order price is an estimate. if the actual price is higher, they will absorb the difference so you dun need to pay anymore. if the price is lower, they will refund you the difference to your ewallet and these dun have expiry date.

Had to dig up this old thread to give my complains on PlayE deals.

Last 2 weeks back, collected my Mafia III. The pre-order price i transacted at was $79.90 using the PlayE app wallet. My friend walked in and purchased the same game at cheaper rate. Well, i do not see any refund in my wallet.

Again its prob happening today ... my pre-order price is $89.90.
Walk-in price is $79.90. I wonder what is my actual price later and more importantly, if they refund me that amount to my PlayE wallet.

:(:(:(

Well, till now, wallet still no cash back. "Spend $150 - get $100 credits back" Promo to me is somewhat a ruse to lock in your funds 1st. It ultimately averages out. So much for National Day celebration.

this is why they give $10 cashbacks. their price has never been cheaper than other shops.

then also some playe stores like the one at tampines mall, far east shopping centre all operate individually although they share the same name. they got their own price.

If you want it back, you'll need to write in to them and ask for it at playe website.

In my case, I've paid 89.90 for KOF XIV and realize on the day I collect the game that the selling price is 82.90 and PO price is 79.90 at Mega Multimedia. They refuse at first when the staff at MM called in to ask but after some more email exchanges they relented and refund me the price difference of $7(not even using the PO price as base) in my wallet.

I did mention how upset I was the price difference but they never even acknowledge it. Now I've been telling my bros either PO and buy at the store or web, avoid using the app unless there is a VERY GOOD promo, which I doubt there even will be this year.

Was in the same situation too for my KOF. In the end was supposedly cuz mine is R1 edition but I was never given a choice on which region to get.

Not gonna PO from them anymore after my upcoming few POs from them through the past promos. I'll rather stick to PO/buying from War Games, consistently best PO prices everytime IMHO.

I'm no petty gamer. But honestly, this is akin to 2 situations

1. "Monopolising" the gaming retail market via price fixing. There is prob a CASE here considering the fact that PlayE prob owns more than 30% of the market share easily.

2, This feels typical of retail franchises with the operational strategy to lock funds in, and then disappear altogether. Akin to the infamous California Fitness.

I am probably wrong. Well, just my 2 cents worth of comments.
