Just noticed that I was being charged SGD 44.34 in my credit card for the recent PS Plus 12+3 months instead of SGD43.90. Anyone encounter the same issue? Any idea where the extra 44 cents come from?

If you pay by credit card, the bank charges 1% more. If you pay by paypal, there's no extra charge (I havent used paypal with psn for a while but that was what I noticed before, someone else did confirmed this).

This is only true if u use sgd to pay for sgd. If sgd to other currencies, when paying via paypal make sure you switch to bank rates instead of paypal rates. If not u get to enjoy your bank charge + paypal 2%+++ converstion rate

Does this apply to PSN store only? So far i have been buying US PSN card from pcgamesupply using paypal but i did not get any bank charge, only the paypal conversion rate and my credit card was billed in SGD after the currency conversion.

Emm as long as you pay using card, there's always a 1% cc charge. Unless your paypal account already have cash and you use that to pay instead of your linked cc.

Hmm, i am also using paypal linked to cc but i didnt notice any 1% charge by bank (DBS / SCB). Maybe the 1% amount too unsignificant so i could have missed out. Lol..

It is common knowledge that the banks take a cut for every card trxn, however at the end of day, the merchant is still not supposed to charge you more than what is agreed. You might want to check your email receipt to confirm what are the charges. Otherwise you can raise a charge back to your bank if you want to.

Just nice for flash sale, tho hard to imagine buying stuff up to $100 for a flash sale lol
Flash sale shld be this weekend though, around Feb 17-20, that's before this promo period.

I remember for such promos, PO also count, so can PO persona 5. (Horizon zero dawn is still cheaper on asia psn I think, usually Sony's own games are cheaper day 1 on asia with ps+ discount).
