Just went back to double check on this. Now only i noticed the amount billed in my cc is slightly higher than the amount shown in paypal. For example in paypal shows SGD10.33 = USD7.00 but in cc is billed SGD10.41 which translate to about 0.8% charges.. how come bank is charging this although paypal transaction already converted to SGD??

Bank will sure charge. That is the standard bank service charge as long as you use cc. That's why i said earlier in my post if you use paypal's conversion to pay sgd it's ok since you never convert anything. Never ever use paypal's conversion rate for foreign currencies as paypal will charge you their rate then bank charge u 1%. No point. Might as well use bank rate which is usually cheaper and since bank is going to charge the 1% anyway

In case you wondering, paypal allows you to set which conversion rate to use. By default it's their conversion rate. This is 1 of the ways paypal earn money from users.

must be desperate since many not buying from them.

do take note if you are using their cashback promo, its best not to pre-order stuffs cos if the retail price is lower than pre-order price you dun get the refund on the price difference due to using the promo. you will end up paying more most of the time.

Same here. I checked my spam, not there too. I rely on the kind souls that share such good lobang here. :). I also bookmarked that special promotion page, then check every morning as part of my morning "relax" SOP before commencing work. :D
