I used it and bought a couple of digital only games from US store, which Asian PSN does not have. Should be a generic code, so those who have things to buy from US Store, can try.

I just tested, it says code has already been redeemed. So it's a use-once code meant for one person only, not a generic code that everyone can use.

Hello! I've just gotten a PS4 pro and the sale person told me about the free FFXV with PS plus promo and I bought the 1 year subscription for $67.70 first thing when I got home. I then went around to research more about PS plus and i found out about the US PS plus over here, all the flash deal etc. Now I'm wondering if signing up the SG PS plus was a good move.
I'm happy with some of the free games in it tho, such as disgaea 5, love the gameplay but why is it in chinese!? traditional chinese somemore. I had a hard time reading them and now i'm tempted to get the english version. Also I realize there are more demos now compare to 2 days ago. I'm really looking forward to the FFXV on 7th apr.

Actually for the US flash sales (once a month, over a weekend) there is no additional discount for PS+. However there are sales every week on US psn, and many of them have further PS+ discounts, some sales are for PS+ only.

Which region PS+ depends on what u want out of it. If u intend to buy digital games, US PS+ would be better. If u just need the online and dun mind whatever free games thrown to u every month asia PS+ is sufficient.

Flash sales don't need US PS+ to benefit, just create a US account, set the PS4 as primary for that US account, top up funds using US PSN cards, and buy. Thats what we all do, create multiple region accounts just so we have access to most region stores like US EUR Asia even Jap (Jap PSN is separate from asia). Sths PS+ members get further discounts for such sales, sths they don't.

As to why the free disgaea 5 is in chinese. They just trolling i guess. A way to tempt ppl to go buy eng version.

Yup! already signed up for a CA/US/Uk PSN. Will just stick to the chinese version of Disgaea until I cannot take it then maybe I'll get the eng version. Hopefully they have deal on it soon.

you need to buy those console bundles or limited edition set then got 1 year free psn subscription.

If you just buy the standard package without anything, there will not be free psn subscription. at most 14 days or 3 mths only.
