I think Evolve is basically dead a month or two after release. The dev killed it with their greed. Practically every little thing (new monster, new char, maps, etc), things that should be included in the base game but stripped out, are microtransaction DLCs. Game seems imbalanced too. Best to skip.

btw, the upcoming Friday the Thirteenth game has similar 1 vs many mp structure. I have a bad feeling about that one too, just not convinced such structure will have lasting appeal.

evolve is free to play on PC yet only have 500 player concurent

the game is not too bad if you have friends to play it together , its just doesnt worth the 60 dollar launch price and bad rep due to 2k boss said something like " this game is platform to release dlc "

Its an overhyped game. Firstly gameplay not much variety is already a problem. Then the no of characters and monster so damn limited everything dlc this dlc that, so imbalanced worse than f2p is pay and pay 2 win. No surprise that it flops after 1 month. Novelty only can last so long without innovation.

Dead by Daylight looks pretty scary too, also similar 4 vs 1 mode.

I already given up psn plus and stopped. Every mth give Lousy free games. Current PS4 only for single player, exclusives and racing games. If you are looking for PS multi players session, the populated servers are mainly cod, Gta and fifa.. If you are lucky, if not Terrible lags and very hard to find match ups.


I game mainly on pc for multi player games.

i played Evolve for 1+ months and i really like the intensity of the game, enjoy and mastered all the 3 monster strength, but it is very difficult to coop unless everyone knows what to do, so the advantage is always to the monster. it is still a great idea gone to waste, esp the lame F2P currently, nothing is done to improve and increase the game "modes" which this game needs for longevity, many many MMO elements can be incorporated to add many twist to the game.
