can't find anything to buy in this Asia PS+ sale

The older titles (AC Black Flag, Watch Dogs...) are pretty good price, but old timers like us have them already. I am looking at Wildlands and Watch Dogs 2, maybe FF12 (not on sale, but 10% code applies), but these are big games, won't have time to play them all. So may be just get Wildlands.

On Amazon, Watchdogs 2 Gold edition dropped to 34.99usd for a very short period (less than a day) a few days ago. Now the WD2Gold sale on Asia PSN is a much better deal (34.60sgd - after 10% checkout). Pays to wait.

Looking at Salt & Sanctuary.

Platinumed S&S. Bought it day 1 at full price. It is a very gd game. Cant find any other platformer/2d game similar to it. I think this is the first time S&S is on sale.

Even if u have played Dark Descent on PC, you still have to play it again on PS4 if you are aiming for the platinum. Its a 3 games 1 platinum trophy .

btw, I am playing Trials of the Blood Dragon (s$5.96 for ps+ in the sale), it's very fun. Definitely easier than Trials Fusion and Urban Trials Freestyle, at least if you just want to get thru a level to progress the story and not worry about score. There's lots of checkpoints to get you thru (just press O to restart from checkpoint immediately, no loading, instant retry). You also won't start at spots where you dont have enough momentum to clear the next gap.

This game is different from others in the genre as it has lots of variety in levels (various locations like raiders of lost ark temple, or being chased by a kaiju - the titular blood dragon, ...), various vehicles (no longer just bike), gadgets (you shoot guns, some levels you have grappling hook), and flashy cutscenes. I don't like the on-foot levels though, especially the one where you don't have gun, cos the platforming feels off, like you dont have control mid-air. It's kinda half good and half bad, but always exciting and flashy. Still recommend it. If you want something more hardcore, and more consistent, try Trials Fusion instead (s$14.36 in the sale). Don't bother with trophies on either game though .

My trials fusion trophies.. 99% was gotten by my 7 year old son though.. this game is damn difficult.. Haha..

I think he already cleared all the tracks including the extreme ones which i can't even get past the first checkpoint, sigh..

Yeah, will most likely get trials of blood dragon for him. Still finalizing my cart to benefit from the additional 10% cart discount.

I've played a couple of 2D Castlevania games and I like them, in terms of RPG elements and 2D platforming action.

Dark Souls - never play it before but I've heard it's punishing.

Was looking at Darkest Dungeon too but it seems a bit too overwhelming for me, in terms of the abilities/skills/items.

Thank you. Then I think I may like it. I like a little challenge but not to the brink of frustration. I'm just a little concerned over the difficulty - some reviewer said it's very very difficult. Haha. Don't know if he is exaggerating.
