how is the online population? read that very low player count. game really looks good as i saw it at arcade. reminds me of virtua on.

I have not tried online play, as I am playing the boost missions. so many selection of robots, char, navi to try, fun!

The PS Plus Collection (ps4 games played on ps5) is supposed to be permanent, so you can get them whenever you get a ps5.

The 1 extra game (available for 2 months), not sure whether you can grab it first before you buy a ps5. Back when PS+ was giving vita+ps3+ps4 games every month, you could use the web store on a browser to grab the free games on other platforms (eg. you can still claim the vita and ps3 games even if you don't own those platforms). So it is likely that you can still claim the extra ps5 game without getting a ps5 (but you cannot play it of cos). Btw, that game Bugsnax has a ps4 version too, but that one is not free.

Anyway, PS+ monthly free game used to have 2 of each platform (vita, ps3, ps4) before reducing to 2x ps4 only. So it's ok lah, give extra to ps5 players. Especially the PS Plus Collection, Sony needs to give something when MS has the netflix style game subscription.

It is this Game Pass that got me interested enough to preorder an XSX. I skipped xbone and have not been following the xbox game eco-system until now. Feels good to jump back in.

I tried Hollow Knight and was very disappointed. It's a well acclaimed game and scored very high, but it just didn't feel right to me. The biggest problem I have is in the jumping, more specifically the landing part. The momentum is just wrong. In most platforming games (even non-platforming game but with simple jumping mechanics), when you jump and stop pushing in the direction (left stick), you drop down in a curve, land slightly ahead. In this one it seems to drop straight down or something. I simply can't get used to it and found it unplayable.

I play and restarted this game at least 3 times, always wanted to get back into it but always get frustrated even though I'm fine with other roguelite.
You can try Vigil or Salt and Sanctuary, side scroller dark souls Metroidvania.

- I could only confirm that Cold War (cross-gen ver) digital $94? Is there a disc version?

- Read that Spiderman save games can only be imported to PS5 sometime late this month, does Mile Morales tap on the save game (eg, progress, unlocked abilities) from previous Spiderman? I only keen on the new Miles Morales game, no plans on re-playing Spiderman (even if the graphics do look better).

For Miles Morales, if you buy the PS4 Miles Morales, you will also get the PS5 version.

The only issue is if you have the PS4 original Spiderman game, you will not get the PS5 Remaster version.

Then, there's the Miles Morales Ultimate Edition. This is the version that comes with both the PS5 Remastered original Spiderman game and the Miles Morales game.

Free upgrade is available for both disc & digital version. If you buy Spider-Man: Miles Morales PS5 digital version, you'll get PS4 version for free (And vice-versa. Buy PS4 digital version, get PS5 version for free).

Save data for Miles Morales can be transferred from PS4 to PS5 version. Cross-gen compatible.

As for Spider-Man Remastered, if you're interested to buy it someday, you can purchase it via the menu of Miles Morales PS5 version. There's an option at the bottom of the game’s main menu to take advantage of a paid upgrade (USD $20) to the Ultimate Edition, which allows you to download Spider-Man Remastered.

Insomniac has also confirmed that save data/progress for PS4 Spider-Man can be transferred to PS5 Spider-Man Remastered, coming later this month.

same for me. i don't think i'll be playing the OG again but with saves now transferable, i think i might jump in and so some side quest.

i also was thinking of buying miles and play this week and play it over ps5 next week but i wanted it to have the ps5 box art so i'm only collecting it with my ps5 next week.
