All in $2k..

Games are only minecraft and roblux, pubG essentially

For those games, overpriced imo.

10400f+ b460m ds3h ~350
8gb x 2 corsair lpx ~120
500gb crucial p1 ~100
600w psu coolermaster mwe ~120
Gtx 1650S ~300
MAtx casing ~100

All this will run you around 1.5k with monitor

Aftershock right

No. Pcthemes. You take what I suggest and find the prices on their pricelist. Go to their shop, point out what you want and they will build for you. If you scared warranty mafan, pay that extra 1k for your peace of mind. Worth it or not, it's your call.

assuming all in 2k, monitor ~$250, mouse & kb ~$50 means the rig itself about 1.7k, which is quite pricey. not sure if bcos got extended warranty. when gpu prices were more sane before the 30 series launch, u could probably diy a rig like that for about 1.4k with actually good quality parts. anyway, see if possible to downgrade to 10600f, u probably wont be using those extra 2 cores if only gaming. 10400f is kind of pushing it since the frequency drop is quite substantial; 10600f and 10700f share the same boost clocks.

no. in fact u wont be getting ur money's worth, since:
a) costs more than the dell one while using a (slightly) inferior gpu
b) uses a kf processor but with a b460 rather than z490, so the premium u pay for overclockable cpu is wasted since b460 cannot oc

Why dont get a Aftershock LEVEL 4 INTEL : I5 10400F + RTX 3060 SGD 1575

Not promoting AF, just suggesting.

I was told if I am a noob in such things, getting AF might be difficult to troubleshoot when I run into issue? Cause it's all customized?

I always find AF always use AMD but I think Intel is always better 😅

nah, intel has been on the back foot since ryzen 5000 series launch. in fact, most people stay away from intel since 3000 series (from 2019) as zen 2 was very competitive on pricing, performance and power consumption.

Thks. Let me take a look at AF again and post my specs here..seems much cheaper than Dell and better specs.

Just need to find a 27" monitor separately then

AMD is top with 5950x for the time being.
Even 5600x is much better.

AMD became the old Intel selling more powerful cpu, while Intel be old AMD trying to be more value

Agree. The intel CPU pricing and stocks seems to be generally more available/attractive in SLS as compared to Ryzen honestly.

Think when folks want intel, better to stick to recommending intel. Otherwise when they run into issues they blame us lol.
