I get it. Yes, yasuke is not a proven samurai according to japanese history, more like a slave/retainer to nobunaga but sell back to Jesuits.

But why is this woke or dei it make no sense.. it is not like dragon age veilguard full of lgbtq dialogues nonsense thanks to dei team which is ****ing woke..
u are telling insular jp that a black samurai exist, as a equality thing, despite the fact they are one of the biggest groups of racial / cultural purism (amdk barbaric, black is even more), and the said references oni refer to nobunaga treating him nicely, no appointed titles and shoving it down their throat in a game as true history based on a charlatan. that and i think he had gay romance too......

this is one of the prime examples of overcompensating on representing blacks and other minorities for the DEI/woke banner......but shitting on another country's cultural history....

I remembered in the game Yasuke was so good that he was appointed Hatamoto, a high-ranking samurai who served as direct retainers to the daimyo, Oda Nobunaga?

It is totally skippable if choose the correct dialogue. I never encounter any gay romance when i play.

Some might say this is dei or woke on that but im not sure since we have the option to skip not like DA: V .. which is ****ing shove to your throat deep deep..

Actually i dont think we can based off this game as true history game because it is about assassin's creed, not really about yasuke .. at least this is what i think of.

Originally they tried to say historically accurate, oni to stand down after the outcry. To them a black samurai sexing oda's sis or a jap man is juz equality, to jpn some take it as insult.....

In the late 16th century, a warrior unlike any other in Japanese history rose to prominence. Yasuke, an African man, is said to have earned the title of samurai and served under the famous warlord Oda Nobunaga. His journey from Africa to Japan, and his role in one of the most tumultuous periods of Japanese history, is a story of both mystery and inspiration.

WHO WAS YASUKE?

Yasuke was likely born in the mid-16th century, though his exact origins remain debated. He is widely believed to have been from the East African regions of Mozambique or Sudan, brought to Japan by Jesuit missionaries, possibly from the Portuguese empire, as a bodyguard to Alessandro Valignano. Standing at over six feet tall, with dark skin that astonished the Japanese, Yasuke quickly captured the attention of both commoners and nobles alike, such as Oda Nobunaga, one of Japan's most powerful daimyo during the Sengoku period. It was the first time many Japanese had met a person of a different ethnicity and even thought it was body paint. The powerful military governor of Japan at the time, was so intrigued by Yasuke that he was gifted the man by the Jesuits.

thats based on the wiki by the fake historian. the actual records, oda's diary oni mention paying him and stuff. A lot of internet ref to samurai yasuke points at wiki or britiannica which was in turn written by him to refer to his book......

their argument is if samurai are paid and allowed to carry weapon, if yasuke had a pay and allow to carry weapons that means he is a samurai. actually it means he treats him as a warrior. theres more to it than those. if a duck has wings then a chicken is a duck as well......

He was given a house to stay in and a stipend. There were never mention of a title.....

When akechi sent him back to the missionaries it was as a slave. Which shouldnt be if he had a samurai title. All this is like rotk....
