Derrick quite ok. Nee Soon Link area up and coming, improvements are expected + I thought he handled municipal issues quite well.

Urs one if PAP wins back Nee Soon, most prob will be Hanyan takeover. My one fall under Hui Ying since Carrie is back to doing her philanthropy thingy. Plus Hui Ying is a familiar face in all grassroots work in Nee Soon South also.

Trust me, I had seen Nee Soon go from PAP to SDP back to PAP. The way SDP handles municipal issues like macam like pull teeth without anesthetic. 1 simple polyclinic roti prata for 10yrs.

Went for many rallies when I was younger.

When Nee Soon was under PAP Koh Lip Lin (back then posters still black and white!), Ng Pock Too then under Cheo Chai Chen and switch to Ong Ah Heng.

Now no more energy go attend rallies stand there listen in the rain, sun and heat.
If u got energy then go loh. Good experience.

When I met 阿花姐 also same thing. I thought she's always like speaking above my head kind. But after a few more times and knowing in-depth about how alot of things are actually done and having the unfortunate experience of needing to handle some very high flying people for projects, then understand that it's not just her, people at the top sometimes no choice have to speak like that cos they need to have that helicopter view and then the helicopter keep going up-and-down, up-and-down, up-and-down, not easy.

Not speaking for any political parties, but sometimes 环境逼人. End of the day, I think everyone is trying their best to make lives easier for everyone, work here, tweak there, flex abit.

When I met 阿花姐 also same thing. I thought she's always like speaking above my head kind. But after a few more times and knowing in-depth about how alot of things are actually done and having the unfortunate experience of needing to handle some very high flying people for projects, then understand that it's not just her, people at the top sometimes no choice have to speak like that cos they need to have that helicopter view and then the helicopter keep going up-and-down, up-and-down, up-and-down, not easy.

ok share with u wat happen... initally when my estate is done, the nearest bus stop is the one behind the international sch... so we suggested if its possible to shift it nearer or wat... with much ding dong LTA die die say cannot shift, reserve for future development, so we tot the international sch gonna have 1 opening behind to link direct when their new building is finish constructed but no wor... so we feedback n ask summor lo... n finally wat they do... build another busstop directly under one of the blocks... but the busstop is those like old old orange n white color type tinking tat they gonna chut stun later on as it dun look like a perm thing... ya true enuff recrently now they build a new busstop inbetween the 2 exisiting ones which is like maybe 50-80m apart... i had been bz if not i gonna do one tiktok content on tis phenomenon...

I think a year or two ago, HDB got some survey that they sent to me. And after I gave my suggestion, damn fast they called me up asking me to clarify, so I clarified with them over the phone and gave some suggestions.

Future developments then have to wait and see and be abit more patient (since ur side is actually quite new). Every week spam for updates, is not like LTA and TC exists to just serve that 1 person's needs and even getting contractor quotation, do site survey, quotation for construction, write for approval, etc all takes time.

Cos usually for these kind of municipal works, spend taxpayers money, will involve a lot of people asking a lot of questions. And usually those questions need to be substantiated and justified before can actually build or improve. To what I know, Agencies and Ministries take very long in doing things primarily because of the need to substantiate and justify the spending and answering a lot of questions.

“We are very careful that the politics of Singapore should remain with Singaporeans alone,” RDU chief Ravi Philemon said about foreigners trying to influence the election.

I caught RDU’s Nee Soon GRC team having a drink at an Indian Muslim restaurant in Chong Pang before they met residents at the nearby hawker centre just before peak lunch hour.

Mr Philemon confirmed that the party has not received offers of support from foreign organisations, and would not accept them even if it did.

“We do live in a multiracial, multireligious, multilingual country, and I think we need to safeguard this unity that we have,” he added. “Foreign interference in Singapore is a strict no-no from us.”

It is “inevitable” that politically active individuals who “are outspoken on certain issues” would have some sort of communication with others like those who have appeared to interfere with Singapore’s General Election, said Mr Philemon.

“I think it is important to listen to all voices. We should not become an echo chamber - that is very, very important,” he noted.

“But at the end of the day, we must always think what’s good for Singapore, what’s important for Singapore and we must be one united people. That’s the most important thing.”
