they never support and recognise him prior to his gold medal.

When he won gold medal, they are quick to jump and claim involvement.

And finally when his performance starts deteriorating, they are quick to discard him and made him go through NS even though IMO winning Singapore it's first Olympics Gold Medal is already a form of National Service.

SDA will not contest Punggol

Singapore Democratic Alliance chief Desmond Lim has arrived at the Yusof Ishak Secondary School nomination centre.

He is expected to contest in Pasir Ris-Changi GRC. Asked about Punggol GRC, he said: "Leave it to the Workers' Party."

The SDA had previously deferred its decision on where to run. The opposition party has contested the now-defunct Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC since 2006.

Why pap so slow? They waiting oppo go first then deploy?

Lim Tean to Potong Pasir?

PAR secretary general Lim Tean has just told me that he will be running as a candidate at Potong Pasir SMC, and directed me to his Facebook page.

In the post, he said: “Personally, I shall ask the residents of Potong Pasir for the greatest honour to be their elected Member of Parliament.”

“Potong Pasir SMC is a historical constituency in opposition political history and I hope to live up to the legacy of the legendary Chiam See Tong.”
