PAP hastily made the decision to hold a snap election thinking that it can ride on the Trump tariff to scare voters. But it seems that their fearmongering is not having the effect that they wish for as people are still going back to the COL issue. In the age of social media, scare tactics don't work as effectively as in the past, as more people are seeing through their lies.
They should have held elections before National Day last year. Before the ntuc Allianz saga

nowadays everyone is uni grad can see through they fear mongering and what they up to, not easy to influence
Nothing to lose, current policies sucks.
If opposition is as bad as pappies claim to be, how far worst can they bring us to?

Ask Jo Teo to tell us how many cybersecurity incidents happened under her watch. How much was lost to scammers? ACRA saga? Just 1 person enough to cause so many problems.

Do you feel the effects of Trump's tariffs?

Do you feel the impact of COL?

The later has impact on almost everyone. The focus is definitely there.

After they increase GST. My support immediately shift.

Got a podcast by inderjit Singh. It rides on the view that if the cost of living has improved during the term. Then the government will still get support.

In my opinion, LW might suggest to voters that if the PAP fails to secure a "strong mandate," multinational corporations could relocate their production from Singapore, leading to job losses for locals. A reduced mandate may impact Singapore's global standing, potentially resulting in diminished respect from other nations.
