The ball game have change after covid not only locally, regionally and globally. Politicians way of handling too have change globally for the worst including here we have very good example in recent times (no need to mentioned more the **** the human cause).

While many cheers and jeers along with and agsainst their favourite parties, a small pocket of humans on this island have a different take which am incline to agree with them IS THE WORST ELECTION RALLY ACROSS THE BOARD!

There are no substances at all from the 2 major camps is all abot mud sling at each other.
Where is the conviction to bring this island to the next leap or how to steer among the choppy waves
While one side seems to be like last minute homework student and living in a world of its own ; the other was more like see see i got give idea and they took my idea.

The group of well paid may it be minister or mps are the ones that is going to steer the island thru both good and bad weather. Whatever show they put up ... frankly when the ship sinks die is WE THE MIDDLE CLASS which are the majority of the society. It is true that in times of trouble, we want a steady ship.

I do not like it that Malaysia PAS + a Singaporean living in Malaysia, have tried to sow their Master Race and Ultra-religious extremism to a Singapore Opposition party. Promising to rouse ground support in election for that Opposition party if it accedes to a terrible list of extremist demands by this foreign interference group.

A few Opposition may win - which is good as it proves SG is a sound democracy.

NCM is safe.
After he is elected and made Minister.
No one will talk about the Allianz fiasco.

But SG will soon revert to normal after GE 2025.
Normal means that after GE, it will be near impossible for an ordinary citizen to meet MP/Minister.
He will have to go through numerous gatekeepers and walls of underlings.

Even if you attend Meet The People Session, there are underlings who suggest you don't see the MP - and why not they settle the matter for you. How do I know this? I experienced it long ago.

After GE and their election victory, they are elevated to high position Minister/Minister of State, etc.
They suddenly are cold towards you. They do not need you anymore until 4 years later.
Singapore citizens must be emotionally prepared for this sudden change. It is the real world.

After this GE with pap having another overwhelming win, edmwers will revert to kpkb on even minuscule affairs such as posting auntie or unkers quarrelling in mrt over priority seats, YP doing weird tiktoks, cars langga incidents, reminiscing 80s lao singers YouTube, and myriad of other insignificant matters.

5 yrs later with another GE, suddenly all become fervent political analysts, again. Rinse and repeat.

huge WP crowd size, online say until dragon and tiger but when it comes to actual results.... PAP have akways won BIG in past few elections

Silent majority + new citizens voted for PAP in huge numbers and I cant see any reason not to in the foreseeable future.
