While today's WP rally was entertaining to say the least, the amount of attacks were too much to stomach. I expect the same from PAP tomorrow

Is this how all politicians are during election? Just attacking each other?
I guess you have never been through GE2015 where WP played defence on daily attacks on AHTC from PAP.

WP candidate Harpreet Singh noted that Punggol residents have flagged the risk of losing DPM Gan. To that, he said the PAP government can “make roles available” to DPM Gan to continue contributing to Singapore.

“This election is not about whether you have senior office holders in this GRC (group representation constituency); it’s about the future direction of this country,” he added.

“We can thank DPM Gan for his service, but he reflects the past, not the future.”

Thought she a bit mild and not so good at public speaking.

Then today suddenly improve so much and shots fired everywhere. Almost every PAP mp got hit by her stray bullets for saying the wrong things LOL

What do he expect GKY to say ?
Should move to a cushy job and wash his hand from politics liao.
He already expressed his ORD thoughts before that.
Cannot expect himself to put himself on the frontline.

Don’t worry about GKY, he can follow in NCM steps to join NTUC or any of the stat boards or become diplomat. PAP will take good care of him.
he can go work for his church, he is an elder if I'm not wrong. :o

he wanted to retire this term originally according to an interview he gave.
I think they wanted his help to fend off the WP and hence asked him to postpone his retirement. In any case he is also the first DPM who is not in the PAP’s CEC. So in actual fact, he doesn’t exactly play a key role in PAP’s leadership team at this point.

if you are not from the shipping industry, better read up before talking about it
NOL bought APL in 1997. And made lots of profit in most years other than 1998 due to the asian financial crisis.

NOL was sold to CMA in 2016 due to many years of under investment and mismanagement.
CMA was able to turn things around within 2 years of buying APL.

Best part SG as one of world busiest port we dont even have our own national shipper. This is a strategic and national security importance to us as we import most of our food and goods.

The joker ex general who sold NOL away still can say its the best decision ever when asked by reporter did he regret the decision that the french company turn it around within a year.

Singaporeans have bad memory
everyone also seem to have forgotten how unimpressive "kate spade" was when she was first introduced as a candidate.
but marrying the correct husband changed her life

Wa Insane how many boomers support ah gan for nothing.

Really the english educated page and the chinese boomer auntie uncle page sibei different.
Like I mentioned many times before, most of the elderly are strong supporters of PAP because they benefitted from their policies. The real change will only take place in SG100.
