The Jon rubs me the wrong way even more… simon is distasteful don’t get me wrong. Jon’s whole speech about “we’re all doing well what, why you guys hate PAP so much?” Really pissed me off. like he mentions him and his friends doing so well so don’t know why the others want to question weird things the incumbent does.
really reflects the sentiments of a lot of privileged middle incomers and it’s why I’m so disillusioned this elections.

I can understand him wanting to def pap all the time since his company is getting a lot of job/campaign from govt agency and dbs banks etc but what really irks me is the channel “R U Okay?”
This channel usually uploads one-two video every month, or even once every two month but just this past week, they actually uploaded 5 pap minister/mp interview back to back to back all within a 10 days… at this point they might as well rebrand that channel into a pap podcast channel Sua

I’m okay with being pro-PAP, that’s fine.
But to say that just because him and his friends are all doing well so everyone must be is so… and people still lap it up.

there are a lot of reasons to support PAP, and also Opposition. At least be a learned voter lah. Use such a big platform to say shallow things like these…

Yes in this specific case. There are lapses that are currently under investigation/review. Do note that blaming the police also does not mean I am in support of the monsters that killed Megan.

let me quote the part where police report was made in January 2020 by Megan’s grandmother for missing child

Megan died on 21 February. So there is long window of time(weeks) for the Singapore police to actually locate Megan and ensure safety of her(a child who already had signs of reported child abuse), especially since we are talking about our small country of Singapore. Not sure about what the police has done or not done but end result is an abused and dead child, even after police was notified.

It was only in January 2020 that Megan's grandmother consented to file a police report, informing the police that she had lost all contact with Foo and Megan.

Even then, the cruelty that Megan faced went undetected.
