Residents will never follow rules. Same for illegal dumping of trast , furniture and bulky items at void deck. Who cares FOR FIRE HAZARDS? Posters of fines stated but authority NEVER enforced. If fire occurs, it would slap and wake the residents up.

But I find comfort that LW is the PM now because he will have a better sense of reality and the ability to judge and access the ppl working for him. Unlikely other ppl I would think that the current PAP under LW is better and going to be even better than the PAP under pinky.

Yes. Pap has done more good thing than bad. But their performance is decline due to their outdated mindset and the pervious leader didn’t understand the ground cause funny ppl to rose to power and do stupid thing….
Having opposition helps both singapore and pap. I think thru competition with opposition (thru the correct way of course) pap might find a way to improve themselves.
