In fact there has been town halls being organised once every few months for residents to attend and to voice out their concerns.

I agree with you, LMW has definitely spoken out more, and I think LMW and PSP are doing what WP used to do in the past. Let’s not forget that WP was once vocal and played a key role in speaking up. Credit should still go to WP for standing up for Singapore.

Given their position in Parliament and the RK scandal, they likely want to avoid sounding too extreme or giving the incumbent a 'gotcha' moment to maintain their place. Their role right now is more about keeping the incumbent in check, which is valuable. They’re also trying to avoid being seen as a party that opposes just for the sake of opposition.
