Since most everyone says that COL and Housing are the top 2 topics, how much these 2 issues factor in the voting decision of the swing voters will determine the outcome.

Not too sure. I am not familiar with the composition of the new residents at the new BTOs built after the last elections. If they are mostly young families, then the swing voters % might be larger than the previous elections.

So far Tampines one got 1 record of $1mil resale and that’s a maisonette. So unlikely PAP will lose unless they wants their HDB to be below $1mil

I’ve ask many parents if they ever wonder how their kids can afford to buy a HDB and forever in debt? Surprisingly many don’t even think that far.

Having an ex-general as a new candidate in a weaken lineup is really over-confidence by their strategist. It also looks like he will be in charge of the constituency where the new BTOs are. Not sure if an ex-general would appeal to the young families.

It is quite significant in a 4 corner-fight. 47 - 48% might win the GRC.

If he can pull 18% out of the 24%, plus 22% out of the core 25% oppo voters. They just need another 8% of the swing voters to win it.

Problem is, PAP voters will always vote PAP

But those kacang putih oppo parties will split votes from WP

GMS is clearly a white mole, nothing better to do just keep attacking WP. Meanwhile he field nonsense candidates and isn’t even bothering to do much ground work
