The huge WP rally crowd does translate to votes.

You look at the votes they have been receiving for the past few years. Always much higher compared to the average votes other opposition parties receive. Remember, there are other voters from other constituencies who also go and attend.

In the last GE, WP received more votes than PAP in the constituencies both contested.
