Hey guys, wondering if anyone could help on here. Upgraded to the latest PK5 through my note 4, for my R720 a few days ago. After the reboot, i could no longer get my S2 to connect to the Gear app. So i did a soft reset and now, all my watch shows is the screen stating: "
Reactivation lock is enabled on your Gear. On your phone, sign in to the same Samsung account that was used to lock the Gear."
Trouble is, I am using the same Samsung account and though the S2 pairs with my note 4 via bluetooth, it never connects to my phone. I cannot even hard reset it, as the Recovery option on bootup is now gone, with the new firmware. I have tried uninstalling the Gear app, removing my Samsung account and adding it back, together with re-installing the Gear app, but to no avail. Other devices such as my bluetooth earpiece all pair and work flawlessly with my phone, so it cannot be that the phone's bluetooth is faulty. I also doubt it was a bad firmware update, as the S2 was working perfect (except being able to my phone) after the update.
Any help on hard resetting or any advice is much appreciated.
