Still waiting.. hit 1.60 then is slaughtered :s13:

$1.60? Wow, that its near Capitamall NAV though.

Btw bros, just for pure discussion sake. Do u think tapering would really take place? Personally, if it takes place, they cant just shut off straightaway, they would have to do it progressively.

Exactly.. and that NAV is what I call QE-inflated NAV. True NAV after higher i/r & taper may be lower. Our property market is nearing its peak.

They'll reduce the bond buying progressively, they can't just shut it off unless they wanna see extreme volatility in the mkts.

with interest rates rising, will it affect the yields?

Yes. So, it's important to enter at a low enough price such that even if DPU is reduced, the yield is still high enough for me to remain in the counter.

If the fundamentals of the company is still sound and stable, there's no reason the stock won't rise again. In the long run it should, unless the business fails fundamentally.

And also, unless you really need the funds, if not why realise your losses?

Yah tat i get it. but wat with the US debt ceiling issue plus possible tapering,im just wondering if prices will drop till even more And even worst than now,am also considering if i shld get rid of stocks and deploy them in better yielding stocks now since the prices of counters like cache and fct are so low..haiz..

Look at the annual reports. They will be the audited report. From my observations, the difference between the unaudited and audited report are usually insignificant.

Significant difference are usually highlighted via separate announcement.

Still plus

Managed to limit damage by trading during the highs.

Maybe because my entry price is quite low as well.

Still in the black ex dividends.

Holding about 50% of REITs compared with 8 months ago......

now is the best time to accumulate some reits. just be nimble and buy slowly.

actually some of our local bluechips have corrected too. so its good to add some of them.
