I bought 50,000 shares of SPH Reit 2 weeks ago.

i've learnt to stick to bluechip reit. earn lesser dividend also nvm.

for higher yield reits, often there are plenty of volatility.
learn to time your entry price well and be greedy only when others are fearful.
though is easier said than done but with enough practice, you will eventually get there.
and do practice some basic loss cutting as well.

every entry strategy must come with an exit strategy, no such thing as holding forever.

The markets seems blooming right now, my questions is when should i sell my reits? Says the gain% now is already 10+%. As i understand that no stock should buy and hold forever.

10+% can sell oredi if you are FIFO trading. If you want to let the profits run some more, sell half of your holdings to lock in some profits first.

reits are meant to be held for long term, same for property

if u bought a condo at beginning of the year, then at end of the year your condo is worth 10% more.. will u sell off your condo?
