I find it strange that readers treat SReit as capital gain stock. Well everyone got their own investment style. Now all my SReit green color liao despite today dip. Me working on other areas instead.

SReit are mandated to give dividends. If you sell you need to place your monies somewhere. When you sell high how you buy back immediately? You need to wait and during this wait monies go where? Into other stocks I would presume? This is what I can think of strategy.

Yes.

Investing in reits is not the same as normal stocks. They are not called dividend stocks for no reasons. Reits are not for swing trades in normal circumstances. The strategy for reits is to buy at a good price and hold long term.

Any stocks if brought at depressed prices including S-REITS can have capital gain over long terms especially the how they got beaten down over past couple years. Already almost all in liao so waiting for them to ripe.

How long is long?
I keep my physical properties long long term (20-30+ years still holding) but perhaps only reits etf i will try my best to hold longer lolol

*i keep physical Gold long long term as well…..never sell unless 1 ringgit = 3 SGD then forced to sell to buy food

There are a few metrics to know when to sell a reit. It is like the opposite of when to buy a reit. And I am talking more of a price point perspective.

Capitaland Investment chiong so much very envy
I bought some Capitaland Investment 9CI today. I have a habit of buying SG counters when they go below $3. Sembcorp, the original Capitaland, and Singtel. 🤔

Will this counter become the next Singtel or the next Sembcorp 😅
Heng ah, 9CI go back above $3. I have been accumulating it under $3. Now even Singtel above $3. $3 is the magic number! :ROFLMAO:

afternoon bb wake up liao, suddenly chiong hahaha
Those BB got algorithm and maths using computer for computation to arrive at a good target price. Then they whack in pushing to their desired target price and stop. So morning computer work out, afternoon trigger bulk buying. They fight with each other as not all BB arrive at same target price.
