REITS sector now under algo selling pressure, correlated to UST long bond yields rising since 2 Oct.

This rise in UST yields is temporary. Once Elon Musk takes charge of the Government Efficiency Commission in 2025, he will begin cutting the Federal agencies' headcount and slashing regulations. Trump will cut the defence spending by withdrawing foreign US military deployments. This will slow down the increase in US govt debt issuance substantially.

MPACT lao sai liao, result like sai

if want to enter can consider, 6% yield now

How about CapitaLand China Trust (SGX: AU8U) ? Dividend almost 8%

At 0.755 Market is behaving like the China stimulus didn’t happen
Yes I agree, BTFD here.
Unfortunately, no money for this at the moment. My bullets for REITS all already fired, sitting at about -2.6% (i.e. loss) overall on current SREITS positions.

They should just dump those assets into a new China REIT and call it a day.

A few months ago, it was mentioned that REITs in China trade at around 4.5% yield. Now that prices have moved up, the yield probably get back down to the 4% range. Maybe getting Chinese investors to hold China assets will make more sense.

lol as usual, when price drop a bit only, all the paper hands will come here to complain. Most reits already rallied like 20-30% over past few months, valuation is frontrunning the actual rate cut by too much, only normal for it to come back to reality as financing cost is only peaking in the coming quarter

Likely most have it way before the drop few years ago. Mine all still green and no I never average up during past few weeks surge as not my style. Even rights will push up if I take all I also control not to subscribe too much.
